Asian-American Friendship Congress

On the Celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Month

The Asian-American Friendship Congress celebrates the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to the development of American mosaic society. From the earliest times of building our country’s railroads to the present period of activism on issues of social justice, Asian-Americans have always been a vital part of the fabric of American society.

During these difficult times, Asian-Americans, which are about 7% of the population, have spoken out against bigotry, racism, and social injustices.

The AAFC continues to take a lead in the advancement of the struggle for equality and for ending racial discrimination.
